Holst Garn is the brainchild of Helle Holst, who craved a perfect collection of knitting yarns. Holst Garn Supersoft is a classic non-superwash yarn in a delicious blend of 50% merino wool and 50% shetland.

It is ideal for weaving, knitting, and crochet, and is available at House of Wool in a variety of heathered shades.

This yarn can be worked with held single at a fingering-weight gauge, or held double at a worsted weight. For weaving, 20 EPI will create a thick fabric suitable for upholstery or durable outerwear, 18-16 EPI is a versatile fabric for sewing or scarves, and 15-12 EPI creates a lightweight fabric with lots of drape for scarves. For more information on how this yarn knits and weaves up, take a look at our Swatch Library.

Each 50g cone contains 287 meters (314 yards)

Holst Garn Supersoft contains a bit of spinning oil and excess dye. The oil and excess dye will disappear at the first wash - and the yarn will bloom and become softer.
